Hi,
I am writing to you as we drive across a newly frosted Ohio... I've snapped a few photos from the passenger seat and will try to post them this afternoon. Life continues to seem crazy and feel calm all at the same time... we just paid $3.81 per gallon at our last fill up!!! Anyone else feeling the pinch these days? We were recently introduced to another part of the "joy" of home ownership. On Good Friday (AKA Black Friday) our main drain backed up and spewed sewage around our basement. It was not a pretty sight. After the RoterRooter guy (Thank you, thank you, thank you, Sebastian) cleared out the drain of tree roots, I spent the rest of the day bleach mopping. We changed the name from Black Friday to Brown Friday.
As we drive today we are listening to what may be the final mix of the new Advent CD. I can't wait to share it with you! There is one dilemma we are still trying to work out. We have one cover song on the CD ("Lovers in a Dangerous Time" by Bruce Cockburn). We have the documents to get the physical rights to have the song on the CD, but haven't been able to work through the red tape of having the song on digital releases (iTunes, etc.). Bruce is Canadian, so their legal copyright system is not set up the same as in the US... the question is should we include the song on the CD and possibly miss having a digital version, or take the song off the CD so that we can have the whole CD available via iTunes? The rub is that iTunes will only accept full albums from independent artists; it's not an option for us (as far as I know) to just send them certain songs. Well, I'd enjoy hearing your insights.
